The Spit Master Plan, released in 2019, conveys how future generations will value The Spit for its memorable places that connect the community and visitors with the landscape and marine environment. Now we are seeking community feedback via an online survey on the Wayfinding signage and interpretative devices that will help achieve these connections.
The Wayfinding and Interpretive Framework (the framework) expands upon The Spit Master Plan and previously identified themes, ideas and storylines to develop a guide for signage (excluding statutory signage) and public realm embellishments.
Responses to this survey will assist in finalising the framework, that will support the implementation of The Spit Master Plan, effective use of resources and delivery of attractive and informative signs and devices that will meet the needs and abilities of various users.
Please click here to complete the survey to help create a robust wayfinding and interpretation network on The Spit. The survey remains open until Friday, 8 July 2022 and should take you less than 10 minutes to complete.
