Muriel Henchman Park is a popular launching point for motorised and non-motorised craft accessing Marine Stadium, the Broadwater, Gold Coast Seaway and open ocean.

  • Improved vessel launching areas that provide safe and efficient arrangement for launching and retrieving vessels
  • Increase in the number of boat ramp lanes to cater for more traffic movements, especially during peak periods
  • Additional parking bays for cars and cars with boat trailers
  • New public amenities, shade shelter, pathways, landscaping, and park embellishments
  • Dedicated area for community clubs to meet and safely store their equipment.

  • During construction, the number of car parks and boat ramps is likely to be reduced to enable the improvements to be undertaken
  • Some noise will be generated by construction works
  • Staged construction may be utilised to minimise the impacts on users of the facility and neighbouring properties

Alternative boat ramps available include Proud Park, Broadwater Parklands, Harley Park and Budds Beach. Visit the City of Gold Coast’s boating facility guide at .
