Oxenford Pacific Highway pontoon and boat ramp upgrade project
The Gold Coast Waterways Authority is upgrading the boating facility at Oxenford.
THE IMPROVEMENT WORKS INCLUDE:
This project involves installing a new pontoon to the west of the existing boat ramp and expanding the existing boat ramp’s footprint by four metres to accommodate an extra lane. The works will also involve minor repairs to the existing boat ramp.
BENEFITS
- Upgrading and maintaining facilities such as the Oxenford site is an important part of ensuring safer, navigable access for waterway users, especially as demand for these facilities continue to grow on the Gold Coast.
- The new boat ramp lane and pontoon will meet current standards and specifications.
- The additional boat lane and new floating pontoon will contribute to the Oxenford and Coomera boating community’s development.

- Temporary closure of some facilities while works are completed.
- Access limitations during the works period.
