Make a Report
Your assistance means we can keep the waterways safe and accessible for everyone.
Damaged beacons, buoys or signs:
Any damaged or missing navigation aids (beacons, buoys or markers), or marine safety signs (such as speed signs or water skiing signs), should be reported as soon as possible to the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350 or after hours on 07 5539 7373.
Vessel polluting the waterways:
Oil pollution from boats should be reported as soon as possible to the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350 or after hours on 07 5539 7373.
We provide a first-strike response capability for vessel-sourced marine pollution, while Maritime Safety Queensland has powers to investigate all forms of pollutant discharge.
Reports of all other vessel-sourced pollution (for example, sewerage and garbage) should be reported to Maritime Safety Queensland.
Abandoned vessels should be reported to GCWA for investigation. You can email us at email@example.com or call us on 07 5539 7350.
Unseaworthy vessels should be reported to Maritime Safety Queensland for investigation.
