The Labrador Channel and North Channel dredging project focuses on maintenance of the channel network to ensure safe navigational access to our waterways.  It’s just one of the dredging projects we have planned over the next few years as we continue to improve access to and management of Gold Coast waterways.

Shoaling has been identified within Labrador Channel (north end) and Main Channel (south end) and the dredged sand will be used to replenish the foreshore at Anglers Esplanade and the northern beach of Wavebreak Island.
