MAKE A REPORT

By working together, we can ensure the waterways are accessible and safe for everyone.

DAMAGED BEACONS, BUOYS OR SIGNS

If any navigation aids (such as buoys, markers, or beacons) are damaged or missing, you should contact the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350 as soon as possible.

VESSEL POLLUTING THE WATERWAYS

Oil pollution from boats should be reported as soon as possible to the Gold Coast Waterways Authority on 07 5539 7350.

First-strike response to marine pollution caused by vessels is provided by us, while Maritime Safety Queensland is responsible for investigating all types of pollution discharged by marine vessels.

Reports of all other vessel-sourced pollution (for example, sewage and garbage) should be reported to Maritime Safety Queensland.

ABANDONED VESSELS

Abandoned vessels should be reported to GCWA for investigation. You can email us at mail@gcwa.qld.gov.au or call us on 07 5539 7350.

UNSEAWORTHY VESSELS

Unseaworthy vessels should be reported to Maritime Safety Queensland for investigation.
