Isle of Capri Boat Ramp Upgrade

Gold Coast Waterways Authority is upgrading the boating facility at Isle of Capri. This project involves the removal of the existing boat ramp and the construction of a new single-lane boat ramp to improve access to the waterways for recreational users.

Waterways Place Strategy

Gold Coast Waterways Authority is developing the Waterways Place Strategy to faciltate future planning, investment decision-making and management activity both for our Gold Coast waterways.

North Channel and South Channel Dredging Project

The Gold Coast Waterways Authority is improving access and connections to the waterways by dredging the North Channel and South Channel navigation channels adjacent to the Seaway. Approximately 70,000 cubic metres of sand will be removed from the channel and beneficially reused.

Top of The Spit Precinct Plan

At the start of 2023, we asked you your thoughts about The Top of The Spit at Main Beach. We did this to craft a detailed precinct plan for The Top of the Spit that reflects the community’s vision in line with The Spit Master Plan.
